Infidelity is the breaking of an unsaid bond between two people. Being unfaithful to a sexual partner shows lack of fidelity, loyalty and sexual satisfaction recieved from the cheated partner. It also shows lack of religious belief as infidelity is frowned upon by most religious groups.
