Stalking-When does observation become stalking then obsession. I think its when they turn from obserserving someone to get an interest or start a conversation (noticing something about a certain person) to wanting and/or knowing everything about this person, from their likes and dislikes to their morning or evening rituals. This person doing the stalking must not be a relative or partner because most people know pretty much everything about their partner, and this is not stalking

I agree with you Sinead, although some statistics do show that many people's ex partner's do become stalker's. Some find letting go of one's partner very difficult to comprehend and are therefore led to the dark deed of stalking, hounding their ex partner. Stalker's see their obessive act as a show of love but their act is selfish as they do not consider the feeling's of other's. In 1998 there was around 900,000 victims of preditorial stalker's.
